The project announced that its NEXUS chain is now live with LayerZero, linking it to more than 145 supported networks, including popular ecosystems such as Solana, Ethereum, and Base.
This integration also establishes a direct route for Cardano’s UTxO liquidity through Apex Fusion’s VECTOR chain, effectively bridging two of the most influential blockchain communities—Cardano and Ethereum—for the first time.
Uniting Cardano and Ethereum Through LayerZero
This collaboration marks a first in blockchain interoperability. Apex Fusion becomes the first ecosystem to connect UTxO-based networks, like Cardano, with EVM-compatible chains through LayerZero’s messaging protocol. Developers building on NEXUS can now deploy applications that reach over 60 LayerZero-connected ecosystems. This unlocks the ability to create true omnichain applications, or OApps, which can move assets and data seamlessly across networks while benefiting from unified liquidity.
Apex Fusion is entering a new era.
Join us for the X Space as we explore a major step forward in Apex Fusion’s interoperability — a breakthrough that connects Cardano’s UTxO model with 145+ EVM and non-EVM networks, unlocking omnichain liquidity, seamless connectivity, and a new…

Christopher Greenwood, Chief Operating Officer of the Apex Fusion Foundation, called the integration “a pivotal moment for both the Cardano and EVM communities.” He noted that with LayerZero live on NEXUS and VECTOR set as the default route for Cardano tokens, Apex Fusion delivers a “production-grade liquidity fabric” linking UTxO, EVM, and Solana environments.
The teams are closing in on the final pieces of the Apex Fusion stack.
Soon, every component, Prime, Vector, Nexus, Reactor Router, Skyline, and beyond — will move as one and bring the full architecture to life.

Developers also gain access to familiar Solidity tools, Tenderly integration for debugging, and Apex Fusion’s dedicated Developers Welcome Team, designed to ease the transition between ecosystems. In simple terms, the integration reduces the technical barriers that often discourage teams from building across multiple blockchains.
Expanding Web3 Connectivity for Developers and Enterprises
For enterprises, LayerZero’s integration with NEXUS offers configurable security through Decentralized Verification Networks (DVNs), allowing compliance with regulated use cases. Businesses can now tap into a shared liquidity pool that spans Cardano, EVM networks, and Solana—all accessible through Apex Fusion’s infrastructure. This unified framework simplifies operations, reduces risk, and improves capital efficiency by consolidating cross-chain activity in one place.
Q4 is when the Apex Fusion stack comes together.
Each release ahead isn’t just another milestone, it’s a critical piece of a larger vision coming into focus. As the architecture unites, Apex Fusion evolves into an enterprise-ready foundation for the next era of Web3, where…

The integration also extends support for Stargate and Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) patterns, enabling smooth transfers of native assets between chains. The next development phase will introduce a VECTOR-to-NEXUS route, bringing Cardano-native assets deeper into the LayerZero network and strengthening Apex Fusion’s role as a connector between previously isolated ecosystems.
